**************************

FitPal measures energy level (functional capacity), which is your ability to perform physical exercise at certain level of intensity without negative impact on your body. It can vary from day to day due to many factors such as fitness level, amount of rest, quality of sleep, temporary illness, drinking alcohol and others.

Why should I know my functional capacity before exercising? Functional capacity directly indicates what level of physical exercise your body is able to perform at this moment.

Key Benefits and Features:

- Measure your functional capacity and know how intensively you should exercise

- Get recommendations on the heart rate range optimal for the next 60 minutes of your training

- See if your training intensity is optimal for you by quickly checking your heart rate during the exercise, or shortly after finished exercising.

If you do not want to guess about your limits, get FitPal and move on to the next fitness level!

Excellent!
Ill take it to the gym.
new experience
I did not realize that each day I have different heart rate zone that I should exercise within. First time I tried to follow it and FitPal kept pushing me. I was all sweating after the workout but must say I enjoyed the workout! No one else dared to ask me to speed up before. And I liked that! No problems detecting my pulse.
Personal Trainer
Seems interesting. I compared the results from Fitpal with the VO2Max testing and the difference was 2.437%. Im not ready to say whether it can be a full replacement for it yet, just need more time and more people to test it. I like the video showing how to place a finger on a camera for a better signal, it made the testing a breeze.
Right what I was looking for!
Im 52 years old but keep exercising almost every day. I was always worrying about straining my heart too much. What I read here about FitPal makes a lot of sense to me. I bought and tried it today and it looks working very well. Very simple, easy to use and fun! Im anxious to see how it finds my ability to exercise safely from day to day.
It works for me
I have been looking for an APP like this for a long time. I need to monitor my exercise intensity levels for health reasons during my exercise. Initially I had a problem with pulse detection. I tried several times and found out the pulse detection depends on my finger position and stability. Sometimes I have the same error message but generally it works well. It’s better for me to get a message about the problem with pulse detection than to get wrong advice about my exercise intensity which I have to monitor closely.
